Oz Comic-con was an awesome day, and most of us dressed up for the occasion and the costumes looked fantastic!

Spending time with friends and chatting to new people is what Social Connection Perth is all about. Building social confidence in our community, along with making new friends and experiencing new things.

Happy Easter Everyone!! Family time at Sandy Cape, no reception but lots of laughter, games, relaxation and lots of fishing in Jurien Bay.

SCPerth have been helping out people in our community.
A member of Cockburn needed big rocks for her home. Denzel and Seth went to Lesmurdie to pick up and dropped off the Rocks in Bibra Lake. She called to say "Thank you, Denzel and Seth for your help, I am very happy and grateful for your support". She has been wanting to do it for a couple of years but didn't have the strength.

It was an awesome Friday night at the Pub catch up. Loved seeing everyone again over drinks at The Gate in Cockburn. Connecting with our community.

Seth 6 months Journey with Social Connection Perth!!

Just over a week ago, Seth completed a four day respite with Social Connection Perth (SCPerth).
Within those four days, we have seen him achieve many of his social goals.

Seth experienced his first Friday night out in Fremantle pub and nightclubs that he shared with his SCPerth friends. This was one of Seth's goals which he proudly achieved.

Seth has been swimming weekly at the Arc, he swim 10 laps in a 50 meters pool and workouts at the gym with Denzel. Seth passionate about martial arts which he attend couple days a week.
Seth is proud of the changes in his weight loss journey, another goal.

Seth was able to have his first experience taking an ice bath and enjoyed going to the movies, bowling, Freo markets and Penguin Island with friends.

On Monday, he finished off his last night of respite with dinner at Bennys and dancing with his SCPerth mates at Metropolis Fremantle, where we were able to see a drastic change in his social skills.

Since joining SCPerth, Seth is feeling more and more confident around larger crowds and is also interacting and making new friends in his community.

Well done, Seth!

Maddi Social Achievements Goals!!

Madison has been part of Social Connection Perth From the beginning in June 2022. Maddi’s goal was to meet new people, further develop and enjoying her own social life.
Since June we have seen some major changes, not only in Maddi’s social life but also in the way she responds and communicates with the people around her. Maddi has begun enjoying events at Cafe' catch up, dinner, nightclubs and other social events with her new friends. As Madison said, “SCPerth is a way of meeting new people, their events are well organised and great fun”.
