One of my BNI members came to me today and said he was impressed by my journey. When I started, I was shy, hiding behind my accent, afraid to take up space in a room where English was almost everyone’s first language.

Today he saw me, standing up, asking questions, laughing, being me 😊.

For every immigrant building a business in a second language: Don’t wait until you feel ready.

My first .au event and it was a wonderful surprise!

The idea was to meet new people, make meaningful connections, and create content for ourselves, a day to help each other and have fun.
