The Perth property market is currently one of the most affordable when compared against cities across Australia, with homebuyers wanting to live within 10kms of Perth CBD paying up to half or as little as a third of the amount paid within the same distance of Melbourne and Sydney city centres. ⁣

"Research by Real Estate Institute of WA shows Westminster, where the median house is $404,577, the cheapest suburb within a 10km radius of Melbourne, Sydney and Perth. When compared to Sydney, the cheapest suburb within the same boundary is more than three times more expensive and double for Victoria capital's CBD, where the median house price is $922,681."⁣

First Home Owner Grant 💰

The first home owner grant (FHOG) is a one-off payment to assist first home buyers to buy or build a residential property for use as their principal place of residence. Applicants may be eligible to receive a grant of up to $10,000, with no income asset test to qualify.
