Short purposeful mindful moments in every day goes a long way towards putting yourself first and reminding yourself that you are worth checking in on.

My Mother, Granndmother and Aunts have been my most inspirational influences.
My daughters are my proudest creations.
My Mother in law, sisters in law, nieces, female friends and family are my heart.
My fellow Caregivers are my motivation and the reason why I do what I do.

Most of all remember to take some time out over the next couple of days to practice some self care. Something to make your heart sing.

Yes even I need this reminder this week… sitting in a 4 days course, wanting to eat everything in sight!
The key to having more energy and avoiding self sabotage is choosing the right snacks. This will also help avoid the guilt I will put on myself for snacking on calories thus putting me in a better mood today! Yay 🎉

Not getting enough or a quality sleep can have detrimental effects on your mental, physical and emotional health.
💤Fatigue, memory issues, and a lower immunity are just some of the issues that you may encounter if you’re sleep deprived.
😵💫Most caregivers that I have come across tend to treat these symptoms as normal as they are now unable to see things any other way or believe that their situation is unable to change.
💥THIS IS NOT NORMAL!

Resting… it’s so important! Yet it’s not done well enough. I know that like you, when I’m always on the go, my life gets hectic! Where can we find the time to rest?
However we need to find our reasons and our small windows of time to be good to ourselves and others around us. No one can run on empty for long.
