On May 29th and 30th, Equal Health proudly supported a two-day First Aid and CPR training course for the staff of Childlife Preserve Shishur Sevay, an orphanage in Kolkata, India (www.shishursevay.org, .sevay). This program marked an important milestone in our ongoing partnership with Childlife Preserve Shishur Sevay — an organisation we have shared many health initiatives with over the years.
The training was a long-held aspiration for the team at Childlife Preserve Shishur Sevay, who work tirelessly to care for children with complex medical and developmental needs. With hands-on instruction and real-world scenarios, the course equipped staff with essential skills to respond to emergencies with confidence and care.

“The First Aid and CPR training was a long–awaited dream of Shishur Sevay, finally transformed into an incredible success. We are grateful to Equal Health for turning our hope into reality.”
Equal Health remains committed to supporting these communities through capacity-building and practical health education. We’re honoured to have played a part in helping Childlife Preserve Shishur Sevay strengthen their ability to provide safe, informed care.
