It’s officially winter! Time to stock up on WA’s best elderberry syrup ❤️

3 tips for glowing skin:

1.: the basics: sunlight first thing in the morning, filtered water, grounding and good sleep habits (hard when you have kids I admit 😅😅😅)

3. Tallow: Grass-fed tallow closely resembles the skin’s natural oils and helps support the skin barrier. Mine is blended with Calendula infused Jojoba oil which absorbs easily and helps balance moisture.

So many people try tallow once… and end up thinking it just “doesn’t work” for their skin.

Breakouts, clogged pores, a greasy feeling or beefy smell 😷.

But the truth is — not all tallow is created equal.

Tallow is an animal-based ingredient, which means the quality of the fat matters deeply.
Where it came from. What the animals were fed. How it was handled. How it was rendered. How fresh it is.

That’s why I only use local grass-fed tallow from Gin Gin Grassfed for my Whipped Tallow.

Knowing exactly where my ingredients come from matters to me. I wanted skincare that feels nourishing, clean, gentle, and supportive for sensitive skin — not heavy or overpowering.

Lavender has been used for centuries for its calming properties. Our lavender tallow is designed as a gentle calming blend as a nourishing evening ritual, with soft citrus and light floral notes. Roman chamomile and lavender are the main calming oils, while mandarin and sweet orange add a comforting, uplifting scent. Have you tried our lavender tallow yet ?

I swapped to tallow skin care three years ago when I was researching toxins, heavy metals, pesticides and chemicals.
Tallow goes so well on my skin as it’s a deeply nourishing nutrient dense skin food. It has been used for centuries as ancestral skincare before all the big corporations and big pharma created all the synthetic skincare.
I also love tallow as it contains naturally occurring fatty acids that help soothe dry, irritated skin and support the skin’s protective barrier - all naturally without any chemicals.
As my base I use ethically sourced local grass fed tallow from GinGin grassfed, mixed with essential oils and a bit of beeswax for stability.

Homemade Elderberry Honey Cough Drops

These soothing little lozenges are made with raw honey (we recommend .bees.honey) & elderberry syrup for the perfect winter sore throat support.

Ingredients

* 1 cup raw honey
* 1/4 cup elderberry syrup
* 1 tsp lemon juice

Simmer honey + elderberry syrup until it reaches 115°C (hard crack stage), then add lemon juice.

Pour into small moulds, cool until hard, then dust with coconut sugar to stop sticking.

Not suitable for children under 1 year.
