Clients tell me that keeping a journal or life planner helps them to create a healthy mindset, so if you're thinking of starting this habit in the year ahead, check out this list of my favourite journals:

Gratitude: A day and night reflection journal (90 days).
90 days is a solid timeframe in which to create a habit, so this guided journal is a nice way to set yourself a challenge to write daily and reflect on the positive things in life as well as comment on areas for change. Pro's - it's simple, quick and not too costly; cons - it's daily entries are repetitive (I acknowledge that this can also be a good point!)

Let That Sh*t Go: A Journal for Leaving Your Bullsh*t Behind and Creating a Happy Life
This no-nonsense approach to journaling is a fun approach to mindfulness. It has a varied selection of prompts for each day's entry and is a bit sweary which can lighten the mood. Pro's - very varied and less touchy-feely; Con's - some of the entries are a bit long-winded.

Five Minute journal
The original gratitude journal. The five minute journal is quick and simple, focused on gratitude and prioritising your day. Answering the same few questions each day allows your mind to notice these things each day and you'll see how you develop your gratitude skills over time.
Pro's - I really like this one for it's simplicity and focus. It's also really quick! ; Cons - it's one of the pricey-er options.

Curation 2022
This is more of a planning tool, and provides a chance at the start of the year to create several 'missions' to pursue for the year. It then helps to break these down in to weekly tasks to be completed, ensuring your 2022 missions are accomplished! perpetuate the pressure at this time of year, so disconnect where possible.

๐Ÿ™A massive thank you to the guys who have helped me this week to dive into the gritty subjects surrounding men's health. Each one an expert in their own field, and each with their own concerns for men and their own message to share.

Dr Damian Kristof started the week for us, and declared that it's great to talk about Men's health but it's time to take action!
We heard from Naturopath Phil Chua about the importance of diet and lifestyle in creating better outcomes for Cancer and Digestion.
On Wednesday Clinical Nutritionist, Hilton Melder explained how fatty liver and blood sugar dysregulation can underpin many of the challenges faced by men such as diabetes, high cholesterol and heart disease.
Kane Parsons, our mental health expert, gave us insight into important is it for men to TALK about their problems, and how that works.
We talked all things FIFO with Lachie Samuels, exploring the specifics of life and health in the mines.

What stood out for me this week was that even though each of the guys has a unique approach, they all agree on a few key healthy habits for men:
