At BTP, our strength comes from the diversity of our people and our willingness to learn from one another. Our workforce includes people from a range of cultural backgrounds, including employees from Ghana currently working in Australia.
Recently, our Mackay team had the opportunity to learn more about Ghanaian culture through a special presentation led by Ambrose Quaye, Heavy Duty Mechanic.
Wearing traditional dress, Ambrose shared insights into Ghana’s history and cultural traditions. Ambrose and his Ghanaian colleagues also provided a delicious meal featuring traditional flavours and local delicacies. It was a generous and powerful way to bring Ghanaian culture to life.
A big thank you to Ambrose and the Ghanaian members of the Mackay team for sharing your culture and giving the team a greater appreciation of Ghanaian history, traditions and food.
Sharing our cultural heritage brings people closer together and strengthens our team.

Today we downed tools and paused to remember the men and women who have served and sacrificed for our country.
Teams from BTP Group and Ausdrill came together for an early ANZAC service at our Hazelmere workshops.
The ANZAC service included a commemorative address delivered by Justin Hughes, Vice President of Eastern Regional (Bassendean) RSL and a Gulf War Kuwait veteran. This was followed by the Ode of Remembrance, read by Kevin Mansfield, BTP Trade Assistant and RAAF veteran.
We honour the bravery of all those who have served our nation, and their invaluable legacy that has helped to shape our way of life.
Lest We Forget.
Check out our new video that highlights our core products and capabilities, and showcases our incredible team.
From parts and components to equipment hire, rebuilds, field service and custom solutions, BTP brings together the people, equipment and expertise to keep your operations moving.

Tonight, Team BTP is taking part in the Up All Night challenge, walking from dusk to dawn to help families with sick kids.
Up All Night is an overnight walk through the streets of Perth, where every step raises funds for Ronald McDonald House Charity and helps to provide a home-away-from-home and essential support for families with sick kids.
Blake Gibson, who is taking part in the walk for the first time, said: “I am walking for a close friend of mine whose daughter lives with Functional Neurological Disorder (FND). They receive incredible support through Ronald McDonald House, and this is a meaningful way for me to give back and support the amazing work they do for so many families.”
For 2026, Up All Night walkers can choose between a 21km course or the full 42km marathon. All four Team BTP walkers have committed to the demanding 42km route, challenging themselves to go the distance in support of families who need it most.
All the best to Team BTP as they walk through the night!

BTP is proud to support hands-on training by donating industry-relevant components to Zeal Futures for their apprentice training programs in Rutherford. BTP donated a number of transmissions, torque convertors and differentials to give students the opportunity to get more practical experience.
The components will be used by students studying a Certificate III in Mobile Plant Technology (AUR31220). This trade training program was introduced by Zeal Futures last June through a partnership with Glencore, providing specialised training opportunities for apprentices employed across the mining industry.
Pictured are Colin Kirkwood and Mark Ostermann from Glencore, Stephen Tritten from BTP and the students and team from Zeal Futures at the official handing-over of the BTP driveline components.
Access to genuine, industry-relevant components allows apprentices to move beyond theory and develop the practical skills that directly translate to the workplace.
BTP is proud to play a supporting role in developing future tradespeople and strengthening skills pathways in the Hunter Valley, helping ensure the region continues to support a highly specialised and evolving resources sector.

On International Women’s Day, we celebrate the outstanding contributions that women make across BTP, and acknowledge the expertise and skill they bring to the mining sector.
Let’s continue to support inclusion and equity so that we can grow stronger together.

An outstanding start to the year at the Hunter Mining Club luncheon - and once again, a sold-out event that reflects the strength and engagement of our industry.
BTP Group is proud to have sponsored such an important gathering for the mining community. Thank you to Jodie Currie for the opportunity to support an event that continues to bring industry leaders together.
The discussion between Sean Milful (Whitehaven Coal) and Stuart Bocking (Coal Australia) provided valuable insights and thoughtful perspectives on the future of our sector.
We remain committed to supporting the Hunter Mining Club and the broader NSW mining industry, and we look forward to continuing the conversation at future events.
