" I liked the painting with the raven, because my late daughter loved them."

I was standing at the desk, ready to buy the charcoal painting that was part of the 2025 Community Art Awards Exhibition. Asked about why I have chosen this one, we started sharing. And with our choice of artworks, came the personal stories.

I will never get tired of repeating that art makes the home. It allows us to express who we are, tell our story and our personality.

I have connected with the 'The Quiet Weight of Memory', because it reminds me of the places and homes I have left behind. Of the many old homes in Bulgaria, the country I came from, that are long forgotten and abandoned. And yet, you still can see the signs of the lives lived there.

This is a story that can be seen everywhere around the world. The places that once have been home. And now are not. I see them as not 'things' but as 'beings', with a soul of their own. And I feel urge to save them. But I can't. So I focus on saving (aka making better) the ones that I can.

What artworks speak to you? Tell me about your favourite!

A...’s life have been and still is one of serving and prioritising others. Now, she wants her home to feel more like her. My job involved creating joyful space while helping her to unearth and dust off her true personality.

Tim.Tam! 😜

Did that get your attention?

One of my newsletter subscribers has 'tim tam' in her email name - I love it!

As a true sugar addict - if I could, I would send tim tams to all my email subscribers who read, respond, and contribute to these electronic communication exchanges. But I can't!

So, I am inviting you to 'join the club' with the promise that:

- from time to time you will get juicy discounts of up to 50% on my consultations (limited time offers, of course 😝)

- will be the first to know where and on what I will be presenting (new topics coming up!)

- and regularly will get my tips and advise on topics related to interior design and home living (all spiced up with a pinch of Psychology, for sure).

Hit the link below to get in the know, or/and share it to someone who might be interested!

See you in my maaailbooox!

I finally have the moment to share some of the feedback from the talk on Biophilic Design I did in August.

(Shh, of course I am not going to share the bad ones and especially NOT the ones that seem like a personal attack! 🤢 😈

Since the people who find my 'relaxed presentations' useful are more than the ones who don't, I'm gonna keep talking! 🧘‍♀️OM

*Blast from the Past* - from a trip to Northern Italy

Old towns have so much to teach us about design. About what works, what not, and most importantly what is Timeless.

Cuneo is less known and exactly for this reason more fitting to those who love to explore.

Cuneo Vecchia (the Old Town) is filled with laneways and courtyards that, despite their messy looks, give you the opportunity to peek into the local lifestyles and learn from them.

Something that I am always curious about. Especially in living conditions that are very different from what I am used to.

Because ultimately, best interior design is about forging conditions for:

>> positive social interaction,
>> efficient use of space,
>> reduced need of maintenance,
>> and wellbeing practices.
