You can get stronger while injured.đ¤
It might be hard to believe at first, but you can get stronger while youâre injured.
Most people think that they HAVE to sit on the couch for 5 weeks and lose all their gains.
But if you train around your injuries, you can actually make strength gains. Then come back to your sport even stronger.

Real Athletes, Real Results.
Real Athletes, Real Results.
Lift Slow or Fast?
Should my reps be slow and controlled or explosive?
What do you think?đ¤
How Do I Get Faster?
Itâs all about the 3 Pâs
Position, Pattern & Power.
Far too often people are going straight to Power and not addressing their sprint mechanics.
Use these drills in succession next time you want to work on getting faster.
Speed Mechanics
When it comes to getting faster we want to focus on the 3 Pâs
Position, Patter and Power.
In these 3 drills, weâre looking to first improve Position.
Getting into the A Position is key to sprinting faster.
Just one simple cue, âget your knees to hip heightâ make a significant difference.

A little coaching goes a long way.
My training philosophy is get the desired result in as few words as possible.
Whether itâs 3 words or a simple analogy. The less time Iâm speaking, the more time my athlete is doing the drill.
When it comes to training speed, I donât want you over thinking it.
Break it down, keep it simple, go fast!

Aim For Progress, Not Perfection.
So many athletes tell me âI want to get stronger and faster but I just keep putting it off until later.â
So whatâs holding them back?
When I ask them a few more questions, I notice their goals are usually âoutcome drivenâ.
They spend all their time waiting for the âright time to startâ, without ever getting around to starting.
Maybe you can relate to this?
As a result, they never achieve their âgoalâ because they donât ever get started.
So what can we do to avoid this trap?
I encourage my athletes to be âprocess drivenâ rather than âoutcome drivenâ.
When you focus on the process, you are achieving success from the moment you start.
This is because you are focused on the process that is going to get you to your goals.
Itâs a âone step at a timeâ mindset.
Itâs the âIâm slowly getting betterâ rather than the âI still have a long way to goâ.
What advice would I give every athlete?
Aim for progress, not perfection.
