Still buzzing over the response to my mahi. Thought I'd introduce myself and answer a few questions.

Growing up i was surrounded by creativity. My nan, mum and aunties like to create, painting, weaving, sewing, knitting, gardening, raising cows lol fixing things & giving things a new life. If there's a will theres a way, get outta the way I'll move that fridge on my own.

I wanted to give whanau a taonga that has multiple uses can be worn and also displayed as a piece of art. So i combined my love for painting and weaving together.

Creating taonga is what i live and breathe every day. This is what you'll find me doing this is my mahi. Self taught, self made, Māori small business owner.

Inspiration for my mahi and business name. Has come from Exodus 3:14
'I am what i am or i will be what i will be.' My gifts that i have can become many forms. Art can translate in many meanings to each individual, hence the reason why i say my mahi speaks to your own interpretation you write the story.

To keep the joy of creation and balance in my life, i choose not to do commissions or pre orders. My mahi is done from free flow no designs prior, do as i go. Will post up on here when done. Maybe one or two a week maybe more on a good day. Prices will vary depending on size and detail of canvas and kakahu.
