Our little learners have been busy exploring, creating, and discovering through this wonderful “The Very Hungry Caterpillar” inspired tuff tray experience 🐛🍎🌈

This engaging setup encouraged the children to develop their fine motor skills, colour recognition, imagination, and early literacy through hands-on play and exploration.

Today we had a very exciting visit from the amazing team at Roleystone Fire Station 🚒🔥

Our children loved exploring the fire truck, learning about fire safety, and meeting the wonderful firefighters who help keep our community safe every day.

To show our support and appreciation for all volunteer workers, our educators proudly wore orange today 🧡 Thank you to the dedicated volunteers who give their time to protect and support our community we are so grateful for everything you do.

A big thank you again to Roleystone Fire Station for taking the time to visit us and create such a fun and educational experience for our children! 👩‍🚒

🌊🐠 Learning the Letter U 🐠🌊

Our little learners have been exploring the letter U this week through a fun “Under the Water” themed activity! 💙✨

The children enjoyed gluing colourful fish while learning all about the letter U and strengthening their fine motor skills through hands-on creativity. This experience encouraged letter recognition, hand-eye coordination, pencil grip development, and imaginative learning. 😊

It was wonderful to see the children engaging in conversations about sea animals, colours, and underwater life while proudly creating their beautiful artwork! 🐟🌈

💖✏️ Heart Tracing Fun ✏️💖

This week our little learners have been focusing on shapes, with a special focus on tracing hearts! 💙✨

The children practised tracing heart shapes while developing important early learning skills such as hand-eye coordination, pencil grip, concentration, and fine motor control. Through these engaging experiences, the children are building confidence and strengthening the foundations needed for early writing. 😊

It has been wonderful watching the children show persistence, creativity, and pride in their work throughout the activity! 🌈💖

🎨❄️ Ice Painting & Colour Mixing Fun ❄️🎨

Our little learners had so much fun exploring ice painting and colour mixing today! 💙✨

The children used colourful ice paints to create beautiful artwork while experimenting with what happens when colours mix together. Through this hands-on sensory experience, the children explored creativity, curiosity, and early science concepts in a fun and engaging way. 🌈😊

This activity also supported fine motor development, hand-eye coordination, and encouraged the children to express themselves through art and play. Watching their excitement as new colours appeared was wonderful to see! 🖌️❄️

📚🌏 National Simultaneous Storytime at Aussie Early Learning 🌏📚

Today at 10am, our little learners proudly participated in National Simultaneous Storytime with the wonderful Luna Roo story! 💙✨

National Simultaneous Storytime is an Australia-wide event that brings children together to read and enjoy the same story at the same time, promoting the importance of literacy, language development, and a love of reading from an early age. 📖😊

The children loved listening to the story, engaging in discussions, and sharing the experience with their friends and educators. It was a beautiful opportunity to build early literacy skills, imagination, confidence, and community connections through storytelling. 🌈🦘

We invite all children and educators to wear something orange as we come together to recognise and celebrate the incredible volunteers and emergency service workers who support and protect our communities every day. 🚒🚑👩‍🚒

The children will engage in fun and meaningful learning experiences focused on community helpers, teamwork, kindness, and the important role volunteers play within our community.

At Aussie Early Learning Kelmscott, we are proud to be supporting Wear It Yellow to help make a difference in the lives of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children and young people. 🌼

On our special Wear It Yellow day, children and educators are encouraged to wear something yellow as we come together to celebrate culture, community, and connection. 💛

We will also be raising funds throughout the day, with all donations going towards supporting educational opportunities and brighter futures for Indigenous children across Australia.

Our little learners are loving participating in First Kick on a fortnightly basis! 🌟

The children have been building their confidence, practising their soccer skills, learning teamwork and having so much fun while staying active with their friends. From kicking goals to running drills and cheering each other on, each session is filled with excitement and smiles. 😊

Programs like First Kick are a wonderful way to support children’s gross motor development, coordination, listening skills and confidence through fun and engaging experiences. 💚
