Let's Torque STEM - WA

Let's Torque is a STEM public speaking competition founded in 2017 in Victoria for undergraduate students by undergraduate students. In 2022, Let's Torque WA will host its first public speaking competition, where STEM students from Curtin University will have the opportunity to speak about an area of interest within STEM, with the aim of honing their public speaking and communication skills. Objectives:
• Build the STEM communication skills and confidence of students.
• Show the potential of STEM solutions to tackle issues facing Australia, and their role in wider economic, social and environmental contexts.
• Connect tertiary students with science organisations and industry.
