This shelving unit near the kitchen was turned into an activity station for my client’s children. As we know it doesn’t matter how amazing a playroom is… kids want to be wherever the parents are! Enter an arts and crafts and kids activity zone to entertain them while my client was cooking dinner. Not to mention housing some of the ‘junk drawer’ elements we wanted to move out of the kitchen. There was also plenty of room to grow as knicks knacks / activities came into the house.

From the archives… This glorious butler’s pantry popped up on my memories this morning and made my heart skip a beat. Isn’t she a beauty? So many amazing jobs I haven’t shared. I will be better with socials in 2024 including dusting off some of these jobs and sharing 🤪
Never have I ever shied away from owning a wood feature! I brought the wood grain features of this mid century home and rolled them into the pantry and kitchen cupboards!

and I had the most fun completing this job which was also an Organised by Bec first. I got to organize this closet based on vibes, yup you heard me! Our client had four different looks she loved and largely dressed as and she wanted her wardrobe organised in these zones which quite frankly made my heart happy! The looks / zones are:
💋 Byron Bay
💋 Street
💋 Classic Chic
💋 Fitted + Flaunting
First photo is fitted and flaunting on the top rack and classic chic on the bottom rack with jackets in the back corner. Second photo is Byron Bay to the right and Street to the back corner. And of course there are jeans, shorts, jumpers, scarves and hand bags on shelves and ready for action. Have also included a photo so you can see the whole wardrobe!

When you get messages like these at the end of a big pantry, kitchen cupboards and home bookcase job you feel incredibly grateful for your awesome clients! I can’t wait to share the results with you all. In the meantime, how cute is this?! ☺️
The laundry is the hardest working room in your house and shouldn’t be neglected in both functionality and aesthetics 🧺
For this particular client, a pain point for them was the deep shelves. Things got lost in the deep abyss of these shelves and so my client often didn’t know what they had. However deep shelves can be great if utilised well…think categories and all category items contained. These large Kmart pantry tubs are great for deep shelves and I will pop them in my bio for you all. I used these containers to break up all the cleaning and ironing products and devices. Plus my client didn’t have any outdoor storage so we created a category for BBQ, pest control, gardening and tools which perhaps you wouldn’t find in all laundries.
The bigger baskets at the top were great for storing toilet paper, paper towels, party supplies and other more frequently found laundry items. We kept these baskets light as they were going up high and more difficult to get in and out.
