What a wonderful day out with . Started out at the club rooms, then quick stop in at Launching place hotel, off to for a wonderful lunch and ended up at Warburton for an ice cream before heading back.

The Institut de France sits right on the Seine in Paris, it’s one of the city’s most important historic buildings.
Originally built as the Collège des Quatre Nations, construction began in 1662 under the direction of Cardinal Mazarin. The building was completed in 1688, taking around 26 years to finish
Today, it houses some of France’s most important academic institutions, including the Académie Française, 'the guardians of the French language.'
Architecturally, it’s a standout example of French Baroque design. The symmetry, grand columns, and that striking dome create a sense of balance and authority. It’s refined without being over the top… powerful without trying too hard.
Set against the movement of Paris, the river, the traffic, the constant flow of people, it somehow manages to feel completely still.
Anyone else have a Frenchie that is this needy.. ?? Jumps up just for butt scratches..

Happy Easter, everyone. We're spending the day with my mum. I'm hard at work in the kitchen, cooking up a roast pork with all the trimmings and a traditional Maltese Easter dish for my partner (he's Maltese) called 'Sfineg'. I saw it on Shane Delia's show this morning; it looked awesome 😝. The dough is currently rising in the greenhouse. Anyways, I hope you're all spending the day doing something you love - religious or not; I'm far from it. Making memories is what life's all about. For heaven's sake, use the good china, romance the ordinary, and have a wonderful day.
