We know that the postnatal period can be really challenging for women’s mental health and well-being.

And women from culturally diverse and migrant backgrounds often face more barriers to accessing support for them and their babies.

That’s why we’re proud to fund exciting new research by Professor Jane Fisher into supporting women from culturally diverse backgrounds to look after their mental well-being after having a baby

This project is 1 of the 4 exciting new initiatives we’re funding as part of our Impact Research Grants Program.

These research projects spanning a range of topics, will lead to better health and well-being outcomes for all Victorians, regardless of their ethnicity, gender, orientation or background.
