CoDesign Apps uses Google's Flutter framework to build high quality, lightning-fast native iOS and Android apps. The same codebase developed for mobile can be used to deploy Progressive Web Apps and even native macOS, Windows and Linux apps.
Recently we spoke about the ‘App Blitz’ process here at CoDesign Apps, where we argue, it is possible to demo the viability of a solution, with only two days of real implementation work.
The benefits of such a quick turnaround are plentiful. Not only will you quickly figure out if an idea will work but even better:
1. It will not blow out your budget and
2. This process may have even given you enough feedback to pivot your solution in another direction and start the next ‘App Blitz’ validation process
But sometimes, the proposed solution to your problem is just not that simple and more time needs to be devoted to implement the solution. Simply said your Web/App solution is more complex.
We are here to help. Introducing the ‘App Sprint’ process here at CoDesign Apps.
This is how it works:
1. You clearly define the complete problem space you are dealing with
2. Together we identify and confirm which key sub-problems when solved, will lead to a successful overall solution
3. We break each sub-problem into its own ‘App Blitz’ session (this time sub-sessions may not always take two days each)
4. For each sub-problem
a) You can provide us with the exact data parameters that we need to work with and manipulate
b) The data is accurate and of high quality
c) You can clearly explain, what output is expected for each use case and why
In the agreed timeframe, we will develop the data models, screen interfaces and demonstrate the solution to you.
If at any point in time it turns out that the chosen direction will not work, it is ok to pause and think, before continuing.
With the right approach, we believe any problem can be solved, with high productivity and good handle on the overall cost.

A warm welcome to Adnan Munshi, a candidate for Master of Information Technology (Artificial Intelligence) at University of Melbourne. Adnan is our latest intern, and we are looking forward to working together.
We like to change things up here at CoDesign Apps and Adnan is undertaking an “Applied research” internship. The concept is simple but hard to execute. Start with an idea, undertake industry research, identify gaps in the market and define the market opportunity, conceptualize and design a solution to address the market opportunity, code up your solution.

Books that shaped and continue to shape CoDesign Apps.
"Fooled by randomness, by Nicholas Taleb" should be on your list of books to read in your lifetime. It teaches us that experts can be fooled and that you shouldn’t rate your expertise too highly.
It teaches us that we at CoDesign Apps of all things, stay humble. We don’t know everything and we don’t need to know everything. All that matters is that when we do something, we do it with integrity, honesty and hard work.
So if you have an idea, stay humble and go for it. We at CoDesign Apps can be with you as much or little as you need, as you strive to achieve greatness.
