The end is nigh... I’ll be closing my handmade collections and website this weekend and the prices in my final clearance sale are now as low as they will go, so now is the time to buy any treasures you’ve had your eye on, for yourself or a friend. Well here we go, entering the last stage of my journey in handmade entrepreneurship - I’ll be calling “time” on my business, Starzyia, in May. Since 2009 women around the world have collected and enjoyed my handmade vintage postage stamp jewellery, original collage pendants, earrings, shawl pins, key chains, bookmarks and totes. I have reduced prices very generously to give you the chance to secure your favourite pieces before I close. I have enjoyed running immensely but the past couple of years I’ve been increasingly interested in other adventures, and also at this time I have a parent who is dying, and it’s time for me to have a jolly good rest and then come alive to other opportunities. I hope you won’t unfollow me - I am keeping this account and I have a very fair idea of what is coming next and I think you’re going to love it!

There are many things about living in Australia that I am grateful for, but my experience of living in this country is wildly different to the experience of our beautiful Indigenous Australians and I can’t rest until we create a better way of living together in this great land.

It’s fair to say that both personally and on behalf of my business, I rely heavily on parcel delivery and I’ve been blessed with the best, so I gave my StarTrack friend, Leo, a giant Ferrero Rocher for Christmas. Leo just gave me some of his childhood fave treats for me to try... even though I said he technically gives me something every time I see him. So here I go, trying something new....

I'm so excited to announce that my website now has a much easier way to shop for vintage postage stamp jewellery - because I have separate sections for each decade (I did this because lots of you are looking for birth year gifts for people) so now on my website you will be able to see "Shop Stamp Jewellery" which drops down to all the stamp jewellery sections AND a "Shop All" menu drops down as it always has, helping you find anything your heart desires.

I won't lie there was a terrifying hour when I was setting this up when I had to delete my shop tab altogether and anyone who visited at that time would have said "where's the shop?" But I'm a flying by the seat of my pants kind of developer... if anything... and at least now I can let my heart rate return to normal, lol.
