Well Hello!!

After a little break we are back and raring to go 💚
We are starting off by joining the @sociallyem challenge to give us a good kick up the butt 😄

In March we celebrated our FIRST business birthday and had an amazing one off sale that went smashingly well... but after that I just felt a little exhausted with it all and needed to reassess and take some time for my family.

So let's start off with some fun facts!!

🌱 I LOVE LOVE LOVE to travel... my first trip away from home was with my 2 best friends to London when I was 16 (we are from the North East of England so London is a bit of a trek!)

🌱 We have 2 overseas trips booked already - holding out for a 3rd 🤞

🌱 I LOVE to dance 💃
This has definitely rubbed off on our kids which I also love 😜

🌱 We travelled to Aus when we were 20 and went back home after 9 months

🌱 Now this is a bit of a snobby fact about me 😆 I only stay in 4* plus hotels 🤦‍♀️ in Hamilton Island I stupidly booked us a 3* and got there and literally couldn't stay there... I was too scared 😅 so we upgraded!!
BUT I am happy to have camping holidays! As long as there is a loo... it's an absolute HELL NO from me with those long drops 😷🤣

This is our thank you to you... for making this first year so amazing.
It has certainly come with its ups and downs thats for sure, especially these past few months but all up its been great!

We set out our goal, to basically reduce the stigma that surrounds being eco friendly or 'green' as something only 'certain' types of people do... and I'm so proud to say that we have managed to do that, yes in a VERY VERY small way... but reaching over 80 new homes in one year of trading is a bloody good start and one that I hope will continue in one way or another.
We can all do one little thing to make a change, whether that be to add a recycle bin or a redcycle bin, or compost, or starting to use natural dental floss in a reusable tin! It all matters...
So once again thank you, we hope you can find some sort of bargain in our sale 😉

WOW WOW WOW did you know that 84%, geez, yes 84% of soft plastic is sent to landfill - it's really such a shame because it's so easy to actually recycle.

What do you need... a local Coles or Woolies and a 3rd bin!!

The 3rd bin could be literally just another bin, or a bag behind your pantry door (that's what we do) and we actually use a recycable food bag that we get with our meal delivery service... once we stop that delivery service, just use any bag and empty it into the bins at the shop 👌
