The Mackay crew were all on fire this weekend, with close, hard racing all day! 🔥 It was anyone’s podium right until the end, with some seriously tight battles throughout.

Except for Dusty CDP Motorsport… who was absolutely untouchable! 😂🔥 Nice driving again, mate — well deserved!

🏁 Australian Kart Championship WEEK🏁

This weekend marks another round of the Australian Kart Championship, and unfortunately, C-Tak Racing won’t be on the grid. We’ve made the decision to slow things down a little for the second half of 2026 and focus on making the most of the opportunities still ahead.

But what better time to stop and reflect on just how far this kid has come. 💙

These photos were taken exactly 12 months apart — and the difference is more than just what you can see in the photos.

Over the past year, Cooper has grown enormously (quite literally 😐) both on and off the track. His maturity, confidence, race craft, decision-making and ability to handle the highs and lows of competitive racing have all come a long way.

It’s easy to focus on results, trophies and podiums, but the real reward is watching the driver — and the person — develop along the way. 🏎️💨

We’re incredibly proud of the progress he’s made and grateful for everyone who has been part of the journey so far. To our sponsors, supporters, family and friends — thank you for backing Cooper and C-Tak Racing. Your support makes this journey possible.

There’s still some racing left in 2026, and we’re looking forward to finishing the year strong, continuing to learn and enjoying every lap along the way.

Whitsunday Moto Sports Club - Karting
🏁 State Cup Shakedown 🏁

Another fabulous day in the Whitsundays! 🌞🌴Goal achieved this weekend with my first EVER pole position in qualifying!⭐️

Results:
Qualifying — P1/8 ⭐️ Pole Position ⭐️
Heat 1 — P1 → P5
Heat 2 — P1 → P1
Heat 3 — P2 → P4
Heat 4 — P2 → P4
Final — P3 → P4

Myself and the kart were absolutely on point this weekend! We were fastest on track in qualifying and the first three heats, and I couldn’t have asked for a better start to the weekend.

Of course, the rest of the boys weren’t going to let me take all the glory! 😂 After some close, hard and seriously fast racing, a podium unfortunately wasn’t on the cards this time around. But I’m still super stoked with our weekend and taking away that very special first pole position! ⭐️

Thank the heavens that the weather decided to put it on for us Saturday 🌞! What an awesome day of racing with a soild field of local drivers to put me to the test!.

Stoked to have finally gotten my hands on one of the amazing cane knives after being a goal of mine for a few years. Dad had the kart on point all day, but there was absolutely no catching Dusty CDP Motorsport! All your hard work and determination is paying off and couldn't be prouder to stand on the podium with you this weekend!

Always a goods days racing when you get to do it with your mates! Special shout out to Dallas 3D Racing Team for making it back for the final after a scare in heat 2!
