Great to be back at Ipswich Kart Club over the weekend for Round 4 of the Club Championship and the TaG Restricted Titles.

It was another great weekend of racing, gaining valuable seat time in a competitive TaG Open field.

🏁Australian Kart Championship -Townsville, QLD

Round 3 of the Australian Kart Championship done and dusted.

A big shoutout to Townsville Kart Club, Karting Australia, officials and volunteers for delivering a brilliantly run event — your hard work doesn’t go unnoticed and is greatly appreciated.

Not the result we were aiming for. Despite refining our setup and improving our pace through the heats, an unavoidable crash in front of me in Heat 4, left us with a DNF and pushed us back on the grid for the final.

Moving up seven spots by lap 2, the Final was looking promising until we were turned down on in lap 3. The resulting steering damage ended our charge, but we stayed on to salvage P22.

Qualifying - 10th / 21 in group (18th / 42 overall)

21 in group:
Heat 1 B vs C: P10 ➡️ P8
Heat 2 A vs C: P10 ➡️ P15
Heat 3 C vs D: P9 ➡️ P5
Heat 4 Odd points: P8 ➡️ DNF

40 in Class
Final: P23 ➡️ P22

For Round 3 we ended up 23 out of 42 and for the overall Championship standings after 3 Rounds 21 out of 67
