My youngest turned 12 today. I have no idea where all the years have gone. But I'm very proud of both my beautiful young ladies ❤️❤️

So I've decided I wish to knit myself a jumper or cardigan. I have plenty of yarn stashed to pick from, and plenty of patterns queued on Ravelry, but none of the patterns are interesting me. I want to make something with 8ply (DK) and even searching through Ravelry patterns nothing is tickling my fancy. Am I the only person that suffers this problem? Anyone have pattern suggestions?

This year I have been in such a jumper craze. I covered the girls and manchild and wanted to make more!! I also wanted to use up some old stash. So in the end I made 10 more little jumpers to give away to people I know. A good karma buzz. All pure wool or wool blend and soft yummy yarn. Here they are in their "family photos"

Still working my way through knitting up old yarn I've had kicking around in stash for years and years (makes me feel better about new stash coming in). Latest finished jumper is a boys 6-8. Hope the mumma and son like it :)

7/10 jumpers/cardigans I'm giving away this year to friends kids.

enjoyed knitting some cute baby mittens over the weekend must make more of these :)

So my past 24hrs brought me making a milo vest (my first ever) and then tossing together a matching beanie. And then homemade focaccia and lasagna. phew! Hope I sleep well tonight.

Who else is using 2014 to do some stash cleansing?

I'm utterly enjoying using up old stash to make room for new stash that's coming in. Being as some of my stash is older than 5 years old I really think it's time it's used!!

And now I've finished two cute little jumpers. Will have to get better piccies tomorrow of the wee owl one :)
