Hippy Inala has concluded our final monthly gathering of the year
We were thrilled to host Alison from First Five Forever, who effectively engaged our jarjums in the joy of learning through
talk ✨read ✨sing ✨ play ✨
This event highlighted the importance of literacy, featuring shared books and providing a complimentary literacy kit for our jarjums to enjoy

The Hippy Team also presenting a delightful puppet show based on our storybook, "Is this my home," which aligns well for community engagement and helped build confidence in another safe space allowing them to express themselves through puppetry

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Inala BCC Library for their generous support, which has enabled families to access membership, library cards, and school holiday programs during the break.

Such a joy to see all children enjoying a fun filled day right in the heart of the Inala community, coming together to raise awareness for our dear future generations

This week at Elorac Place...

This month's gathering focused on educating & supporting parents with their children about the significance of oral care and making healthy dietary choices, alongside sharing ideas and recipes for preparing nutritious school lunch boxes

We extend our gratitude to the exceptional team at Metro South Oral Care for their engaging presentation, which included demonstrations by our jarjums with their friendly staff and puppets, and having time to do their dental checks
Effectively raising awareness and encouraging early habits

To further promote health and well-being,
we welcomed Leigh
Our Deadly Nutritionist from Metro South Health, who shared delicious recipes designed to involve both parents and jarjums in cooking together with some deadly choices on eating

Each child received a complimentary lunch box to assist with their school readiness, followed by enjoyable activities, including our very own Healthy Eating "Teddy Bear's Picnic" 🧸

Seeing the joys on each child's face made this day complete 🤗

It was another successful day of connection and awareness, and we eagerly anticipate seeing everyone at next month's gathering
