It has been wet! wet! wet! but we still keep cracking at the inspections.

I may have to start taking my own hose to inspections soon though. 😅

What in the bathroom renovation is this 🫣🤯

I dont know where to start. It is not often I am left Speechless.

It really disappoints me when really good people save up what they can afford for a bathroom renovation and then you get this. The little care that is on display here, especially on that bath is mind blowing.

I am glad the clients had concerns, raised them and reached out before things were completed or went 'too far'.

What does a 'typical' Handover inspection look like?

This properties handover inspection had mainly cosmetic items and not really items of 'non compliance' or those ' shock factor' defects you see throughout social channels.

Cosmetic defects and poor workmanship items can be easily rectified in most situations, but it is important to understand the rectifications can still take time and potentially delay settlement.

Third attempt at waterproofing… and somehow it’s getting worse 😬

Waterproofing shouldn’t be a ‘have another crack at it’ situation… yet here we are 🤣

Every Day, Every Inspection is different and interesting in their own way... and then there are some that just give you a migraine.. and this may have been one of those. 🫣🤯

I had my my hopes up for this Practical completion/ Handover inspection.

Another day, another Handover
Rate it out of 10 🤣

Safe as houses… 😅

Ladder set up on foam panelling…
And paint straight over the stairs, no drop sheets in sight.
It’s the small things that give you a pretty good idea how the rest of the job has been treated.

What in practical completion is this? 🤣🤦
My OCD has been sent into overdrive today. 🤣😳

This inspection had it all, including Showers now requiring RE- waterproofing!!

Not ideal when it is meant to be handed over to the new owners.

Yeah… it’s safe. Trust me bro. 🤣🤦

New day. New build. New head scratchers.

Its a long video... but it could have been much longer 😬🙈

This Inspection of extension/ Renovation was an absolute head scratcher. So many issues throughout new works, especially where it blends from new to old.
