This Sunday is a special day for our club and our senior program as we host our Senior Sponsors Day at Coomera, with all three of our senior teams playing at home.

It’s a great chance to celebrate and acknowledge our amazing senior sponsors and partners who continue to support our club, our players, and the pathway we are building here at the Cutters.

🚨 TRAINING UPDATE – FIELDS CLOSED 🚨

Unfortunately, we have made the decision to cancel all field training for the next two days — Wednesday 27th and Thursday 28th May.

Council already has the fields closed, and with the current ground conditions, the rain from this afternoon, and a big storm expected to hit the Gold Coast and Coomera area tomorrow, we need to give our fields every chance to recover.

We know this is frustrating and a bit of a pain, but this decision is about working with Council, protecting our fields, and giving us the best possible chance of hosting games this weekend and maintaining our grounds for the rest of the season.

If teams are organising alternative training, please make sure it is done safely. For our younger teams, please ensure all players are properly supervised, especially if doing road runs or off-site sessions.

Another reminder to all our Cutters players, coaches, volunteers, families and supporters that the month of May is Respect Month.

One of our Golden Rules is simple:

An opponent’s success does not diminish your own. True champions are measured not only by the scoreboard, but by their character, empathy and willingness to help others rise.

On the field and in everyday life, true sportsmanship is about showing humanity and kindness — helping an opponent up after a hard fall, congratulating a rival on their success, and remembering that respect matters more than the final score.

Let’s keep creating a safe, positive and respectful game day experience for everyone.
