A big week begins today.

My six-week Textured Art Course kicks off tomorrow night at Rachael Boekamp and I couldn’t be more excited to share this journey with the beautiful souls who have chosen to join me. Over the next six weeks we’ll create, learn, connect, and explore the magic that can unfold when we give ourselves permission to play.

Then the June workshops begin… Ocean Flow on Thursday and Textures in Bloom on Saturday. My heart is so full knowing I get to spend these moments creating alongside you.

And then there’s something else…

Something that’s been quietly unfolding behind the scenes.

A little daunting.
A lot exciting.
And wrapped in more gratitude than I can put into words.

Saturday 20th June | 11am–1pm
Create a beautiful textured floral artwork on canvas while learning layering, palette knife, and texturing techniques.

🌊 Ocean Flow

Thursday 18th June | 6pm–8pm
A calming ocean-inspired workshop exploring movement, texture, and coastal tones to create your own flowing wave artwork.

Tonight I begin again.

For a long time, University lived quietly in the background of my mind as something I hoped I’d do “one day.” Life moved quickly… motherhood, career, responsibilities… and somehow the years passed.

But maybe dreams don’t expire. Maybe they simply wait for us to be ready to meet them.

And so here I am.
44 years old, sitting at my laptop on the eve of my first university class, with equal parts excitement, self doubt, fear and determination… choosing to back myself anyway.

Returning to a dream you once thought was out of reach changes you. It asks you to step beyond the stories you’ve told yourself about timing, age, capability and worthiness. It reminds you that growth, reinvention and becoming do not belong to youth alone.

Tonight is day one.
Not of having it all figured out… but of saying yes to myself. 🤍

One of my favourite parts of my business is holding space through one-on-one Creative Arts Therapy sessions.

Today marks Session 5 of Home to Self… a Ten Week healing journey I created to support women in gently returning to themselves, reconnecting with their truth, and rekindling self-love.

This week we explore connection with the inner child. The younger parts of ourselves that long to feel seen, heard, nurtured, and emotionally safe. Together, we create space to meet her with softness, compassion, creativity, and love.

These two-hour Creative Arts Therapy sessions are gentle, grounded, and deeply supportive. A space for emotional healing, reflection, mindfulness, creativity, and coming home to yourself.
