My family, friends and I sure have some weird hobbies… I decided to write a song about it. COME HEAR IT LIVE AT MY FREE GIGS NIPALUNA (Hobart) THIS WEEK!

I have a full originals set at on Wednesday night for Strings and Stories! Music from 7pm. Free entry! Great food and drinks available from th bar.

Also debuting this song at Monday night for the Australian Songwriters Association Tasmania Wax Lyrical showcase (6-8:45pm). This is a shorter set but there will be other great acts on. Also great food and drink available!

Support live music while we still can ❤️✨

With the way things are going though, our hobbies might come in handy someday 🤷 anyone got something to top learning to use a sword? (technically it’s a naginata but I might branch out to swords soon!)

Spirit of Tasmania was excellent as always! I didn’t get many snaps this time but loved catching up with my family in Geelong on Sunday. Not many jobs allow you to pop over the strait for Sunday brunch 😆

First pic is a blurry selfie I set my mum to let her know I made it on board. Second is my manager (Bart), who was glaring at me because I wouldn’t share my breakfast with him. Might need to find a new manager at this point 😅🐕

This little spirited traveler will be performing on the Tassie ship this weekend 🚢 (albeit the older version in the third photo). I’m playing on the Devonport - Geelong sailing tomorrow (Saturday) night then the Geelong - Devonport sailing Sunday night. Playing some originals and some covers!

Here’s some LJ Parks lore for you - for those who’ve heard my song “Glen Morris” (which I haven’t played at many gigs but have played on almost every Spirit of Tasmania sailing so far), the photos of little me were taken on the family farm I wrote the song about! I think they were, anyway. 😆 I don’t remember much from that time, but I remember that I did love carrying sticks around!

Good morning from djilang (Geelong)! Had a fabulous sailing last night out of Devonport providing tunes for travellers and will be doing the same today as part of the .tales entertainment crew.

Love the views from port, and whilst sailing to be honest. The performer’s stage on deck 9 has panoramic views of the landscape we sail through. Here I am standing on the back deck now!
