Still into the 3D printing with a larger printer now. This was done for a mate and measures 310mmx310mm. Sorry about the angle of the photo.

It's been quite a while since I put up a new post on this page, as I've been distracted with a new project. Now that it's done, I thought I'd share a few pictures.

It's something that I did for myself and involved woodworking, computer hardware, software, electronics, audio and video equipment, 3D Printing and some real pinball machine hardware.

Yes, it was a lot of work, however it was worth it. Sorry, video quality isn't great but you get the idea.

Another Pyramid video, but this one has some extra bits in it. We take a look at the detail in the final print, and we also see how the pyramids look when mounted on a hardwood board (ready for sale).

3D Printing a large Fractal Pyramid (timelapse) Orinted using Silk PLA in silver, this print was one continuous extrude - a constant lay down of filament without any breaks.

Here's a bit of a quick look at my current project - a virtual pinball machine. The monitors, computer and software have been sorted and will be refined as I go along.

The next step is building a cabinet to house this, and then putting the electronics together.

I wanted to test a new colour of filament for a bigger project, so here's video of the print and result. What do you think?

Picked up a laser engraver during a sale last year, and I've finally got around to setting it up.

The image below shows a piece of softwood which has been lasered with the logo.

I'm hoping to be able to combine this with some of the other things I'm doing.
