A year ago, I was accused of harassment and stalking by my ex-best friend.

The Met Police, reeling from a super complaint lodged by the Suzy Lamplugh Trust, launched an investigation that I can only describe as disastrous.

I was assaulted, and then remanded in custody three times in conditions that any architect knows amount to torture.

I have been made homeless in an illegal eviction by my landlord’s agent. I have had my shoulder’s rotator cuff torn and still feel pain most mornings.

The psychological harm has been so great that I am starting to go non-verbal, even in busy nightclub environments, my spiritual home.

I have fought for proper mental wellbeing support and housing in Lambeth, and apparently can’t be given an empty flat within which to nest because I am not with children, and am not elderly.

By all accounts, it is likely to take a year before I fully recover to the point that I can work.

When I re-launched The Red Party: World AIDS Day Fundraiser with Fabuland, it was because of a comment I received on a date about 23-year olds with HIV being s***s. Needless to say, I didn’t sleep with him. Instead I focussed on building an event to combat stigma.

Working with Chris Driscoll, I learned so much about the AIDS Crisis at its peak, especially survivors guilt.

This year, due to the inaction of London’s Met Police and Lambeth’s housing team, this event will not run.

I hope to bring it back next year, along with my plans to expand Fabuland into Adelaide and maybe even Brisbane.

I look forward to seeing you all soon - I’m not currently allowed to leave the UK.
