France or Italy? Why choose! 🇫🇷✨🇮🇹

Iona Presentation College students are splitting off on two incredible language adventures, with some students heading to France and others to Italy. We can’t wait to follow along and see what they get up to!

Students from Melbourne Girls' College are off on their French adventure! 🇫🇷✨

📍 First stop: Nice, where they’ve been immersing themselves in the language with four half-day French classes, while also finding plenty of time to explore the beautiful Côte d’Azur.

Next stop: Paris! The group will explore the Louvre, discover the city on guided tours, take a day trip to Versailles and experience a theatre performance - all in French! 🎭

From the classroom to the streets of France, they’re getting to experience the language, culture and history firsthand. 💙

The second part of our Queenstown Discovery Tour was certainly an eventful one - and in the game of travel, you have to expect the unexpected! 🏔️

Strong winds on Day 3 saw both The Remarkables and Coronet Peak closed, so we quickly pivoted from skiing to exploring. Friday morning began with an early site inspection of one of our school group accommodations before heading to the historic gold-mining town of Arrowtown, established in 1862.

After a delicious lunch stop at Kinross, the group headed back to Queenstown for a second site inspection, giving our teachers a first-hand look at two comparable properties that could be suitable for their future groups.

By Saturday, the weather had eased enough for some Skyline luge action! 🛷 The adults quickly became kids again as they raced each other down the track. They enjoyed one final meal together at Stratosfare, where the buffet was an epic way to round out an exciting, exhilarating and educational trip to Queenstown.

With plenty of new experiences, valuable insights and memories made, the group said their goodbyes and headed to the airport to farewell Queenstown… until next time! 👋💙

45 students from Hobart College hit the slopes last week, with many experiencing snow for the very first time!

They took on the Summit, Big D and Road Runner Quads, making the most of the conditions, embracing new challenges and pushing themselves outside their comfort zones — building confidence and creating plenty of unforgettable memories along the way.

And those smiles say it all! 😄🎿
