Young Guns is a family-owned busine ss specialising in the packing and unpacki ng of shipping containers. Young Guns Contain er Crew was founded in 2004 by brothe rs Scott and Trent Young.
At the time, they were chasi ng a dream of playing rugby leag ue whilst juggling engineering studies at universi ty and a casual job of unpacki ng shipping containers. Recently the Young Guns team at Bunnin gs in Queensland held their first yarni ng circle, a tradition that allows a pla ce to talk, share, discuss, educate, a nd have a yarn together, a pla ce to build respectful relationships and a spa ce to enrich learning experiences.
O ur team had the privilege of havi ng Kevin, a team member from Bunnin gs, share his story with them. You ng Guns Tribe Coach Nemani Tuitubou grateful ly shared his experience of participating in t he yarning circle recalling Kevin’s advice to t he team to "respect everyone regardless of the ir background" and "never look down on anyo ne, unless you're willing to give th em a hand to lift them up"
