I am delighted to express my immense pride for this group of JPR kids. Under senior Dave’s guidance, they proudly represented at the dawn service held at 6:00am at the Palmerston cenotaph and donated books to local schools. Your presence and gesture demonstrated respect and gratitude to the ANZACS 🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺.

Tonight we went to bunnings Bagot road to help with their Easter family fun night.
Thanks to everyone who volunteered, tonight was a huge success.

📢 JPRLA First Committee Meeting of the Year!

Our first Committee Meeting is happening this Wednesday, and we’d love to welcome some new faces!

If you can spare just one hour a month, your support makes a huge difference. Our meetings are held on the first Wednesday of each month. We usually meet at PMC, but we like to mix it up with different locations throughout the year.

If you haven’t submitted your nomination for a general committee member yet, there’s still time. Email it to [email protected] before 4pm this Wednesday. A copy of the nomination form will be emailed back to you.

We’ve got some fun events coming up in 2026, including a Family Fun Day and a Trivia Night — great opportunities to get involved and strengthen our community.

No worries you can still help! Let us know if you can assist with any maintenance around Goanna Park. We’d love to know what trade or skills you have and how you might be able to help.

Kids were stoked to find a baby snake, who was carefully identified as non venomous and then placed back into the bushes.
Also found a kangaroo skeleton under a demountable which was removed once the kids all had a good look.

What a day !!
So much water, but the rain held off today for our first working bee of the year.
Thankyou so much to everyone who came out and helped. You guys are absolutely amazing.
We have some amazing JPR kids and equally amazing parents and carers who went out of other way today to do what needed to be done.
With everything so damp we will head back out on Sunday the 22nd March for another working bee.
