I remember that moment for me.
EYE GAZING
I started holding space in this way about 5 years ago and it not only changed how I saw the world but also how I saw myself.
By simply sharing eye contact with a stranger you create a connection without any judgement, without any expectations and without any masks.
You just completely accept that person as they are and realise that you can have love for them because we all deserve to be loved.
When you hold this space for another you get reminded to hold this space for yourself and that's what hit home for me. I learnt to love myself as much as I am willing to love another and to accept myself, exactly as I am, in the way I found so easy to do for those around me.
