BS Spreading Pty Ltd, are looking for two experienced spreader operators. We are a family owned company based out of Chinchilla and operating from Central QLD to the NSW border.
We are looking for trustworthy, reliable and independent operators to run this outfit.
You must have experience operating farm machinery and be familiar with gps systems.
You need to be a competent loader operator, preferably with Tele handler experience.
You will be required to maintain, clean and do minor repairs.
Must present well, take pride in your role as presentation is key in all aspects.
Working away at times is part of the role which is something to keep in mind when applying.
Sober habits and drug free is the companies environment and policies.
A manual drivers license is essential and a HR or HC license is advantageous.
If you have experience planting or spraying, we can train you?
Above award wages based on your experience and accomodation is supplied when working away from base.
A sense of humour will help to fit in with the other clowns in this outfit.

The new set-up is up and running. Let’s see which one can spread more material. Now we have two machines on 3m centres, it will be nice to see these two working together.
One thing we really love about our spreaders is the even coverage that we can create. We make sure our machines are spreading at optimal performance.
This takes a while at the start of the job and we check throughout the job as well to bring the best out of our machines.

We understand your time and money is valuable and to make the job more efficient when the fertiliser can’t be place next to the field we bring in our trucks.
One of the top things about having truck mounted spreaders is that they are quick and efficient at getting the fertiliser out to the field and from a fair distance away.

Spreading some old compost and some screened manure this week. It is nice to see some calmer weather to make our big Bunning spread so nicely. In perfect conditions this big rig can spread anywhere from 4 to 12m comfortably with overlap to create a nice even coverage.

While it has been a bit wet for spreading, the loader’s have been hard at work pen cleaning for some of the local feedlots. These are a few pictures of the process we take to clean them.
