We’re locking-in law Permanent 50 Cent Fares because we know Queenslanders rely on them.

Our Budget delivers cost of living relief Queenslanders can rely on, including driving down energy costs through our Energy Roadmap. Our $150 Back to School Boost and $200 Play On! Sports Vouchers are locked in as well.

We’re doing our bit with cost of living relief Queenslanders can rely on when they’re doing it tough in the middle of a national affordability crisis.

This Budget strengthens the foundations of the fresh start we’re delivering for Queenslanders.

How's the State Government investing in correctional and detention facilities, and early intervention and rehabilitative programs in this year's budget?

That's what I asked Youth Justice Minister Laura Ge**er MP during Question Time. After the former Labor Government's failure to invest in correctional centres, the Crisafulli Government is getting on with the job.

We know that many of our local schools are struggling with aging infrastructure after a decade of underinvestment under Labor.

That's why, as part of our 2026-27 budget, the Crisafulli Government is investing $1.3 million to deliver a new fire hydrant system at Alexandra Hills State High.

This system will include a new water connection, pump, booster, pipework and a network of fire hydrants across the school, that will make a real difference in the case of an emergency.

Investments like this are part of our plan to build Queensland's future.

Dangerous repeat youth offenders shouldn’t be released on bail just to breach it and reoffend.

People right across Capalaba are telling me they want more done, and I’m listening.

Breach Bail, Go to Jail is simple: breach your bail, lose it.

I’m proud to back this campaign and put victims first. Add your voice and sign the petition.

🍳 Birkdale Community BBQ

The winter sunshine certainly didn't disappoint this morning at Bailey Road Park for our Birkdale Community BBQ!

Thank you to Cr Tracey Huges for joining us, and to all the locals who stopped by for a chat. I look forward to hosting more of these in the future!

We have secured the future of The Sycamore School, Brisbane’s first school dedicated to autistic children.

The Crisafulli Government has delivered a new 30-year lease at TAFE Queensland’s Alexandra Hills campus, ensuring specialist education will be delivered to autistic children and their families for decades to come.

Labor left the school’s future in doubt by failing to renew its lease past 2025.

During the election we promised to fix that, and we have.

We're delivering on our commitments and backing specialist education for autistic children to thrive.
