Apparently now is the time I’m supposed to lift heavy weights, improve my muscle mass, build my bones, look after my mood, improve my sleep, eat well, swear less (that may or may not be a perimenopause symptom) . Well, I’m giving it a red hot crack. It’s not pretty, but it didn’t kill me. Thanks A. For Volunteering to be my amazing partner 😊 Fitstop Phillip

FIFA has launched a new global Female Health and Performance Project aimed at improving understanding of women's health in sports. The initiative will focus on key areas affecting female athletes, including menstruation, pregnancy, postpartum recovery, menopause, nutrition, and overall well-being.
The project brings together researchers, medical experts, and football stakeholders to help address long-standing gaps in sports science, which has historically focused more on male athletes. FIFA says the goal is to provide better research, support, and resources to help female athletes perform at their best throughout every stage of life.

Honestly, this is the most accurate explanation of perimenopause I’ve heard so far.
Some days I feel crunchy.
Some days I feel salty.
Some days I wonder if I’m being preserved for future generations.
But if cucumbers can come out of the process more valuable…
I’m willing to trust the fermentation. 🥒💖
