Florifying Moments
For the moments we florify, one bloom at a time. Resin and felt floral art.

🌿✨ Taking a little pause 🌸
As I pack up my tools and glass, I’m also packing away old energies.
I’m moving somewhere more nature-filled.. where the air feels lighter and the views spark new inspiration.
The studio will bloom again soon, with more colour, calm, and creative light than ever.
Lately, I’ve seen so many handmade and small creative businesses closing their doors… and it’s honestly heartbreaking. 💔 My thoughts are with all the makers, dreamers, and artists trying to keep their light alive in this tough economy. May we never lose our spark, even when times get hard.
For now, I’m taking a break from the noise, the rush, and the negativity — to reconnect, breathe, and dream of what’s next.
Thank you all for your love and support — can’t wait to show you the new chapter soon 💚

From molten blobs to sparkling masterpieces ✨
Spent Saturday at Canberra Glassworks!
Which is my kind of candy land! 🍭
Learned glassblowing facts, ogled stunning artworks, and soaked up every shimmer.
It was so much fun watching the show with my kid who now wants to "blow glass like bubbles!" 🤣🤩

Had way too much fun making this bright little village of fused glass houses! 🏡✨
Lots of cutting, layering, melting (and a bit of holding my breath during kiln time 😅) — but seeing all the colors come together like this made it totally worth it. Glass fusing is part art, part science, and 100% satisfying when it all works out.

Just delivered this pastel floral standing glass piece to our favourite boba place in the Gong! 🍓🌸 They asked for something to match their current floral theme and I loved the idea instantly.
The soft iridescent petals catch the light beautifully! Did you know iridescent glass sheets are coated with a thin metallic film that creates that rainbow shimmer? ✨🌈 Each piece shifts color depending on the angle and lighting, making it feel alive.
I also hand-sanded and stained the raw oakwood base to give it that warm, grounded look. 🍃 It’s now ready to be part of their beautiful space. If you’re in the area, pop in for a sweet treat at Wonder Boba!

If the world has felt loud lately.. busy, heavy, unrelenting, maybe it’s time to come back to the quiet things.
To your hands. To color. To nature. To your own stillness. 🍃
Art doesn’t have to be perfect.
A walk in nature doesn’t have to be long.
What matters is that you pause. That you feel. That you return to yourself, even for a moment.
You’re not just what you do for others.
You’re a soul that deserves gentleness, beauty, and stillness too. 💛
Let art and nature remind you: healing is still possible, even in a world that won’t slow down.

The round, silvery-green eucalyptus leaves have always caught my eye... soft, simple, and beautifully Australian. 🌿
This fused glass project is inspired by them. I’ve layered different green glass sheets to reflect their calming tones. While real eucalyptus leaves usually face upward to the sun, I wanted these to play with light, catching refractions and casting shadows as the sun hits them. ✨
It’s still a work in progress and will eventually be mounted on a piece of Tasmanian oak, another beautiful natural material that ties it all together.

Who says you can’t start a new hobby in your late 30s with zero chill and maximum drama?
I’ve been doing stained glass for 5 years, but recently decided to level up (or maybe just lose my mind a little) and try glass fusing.
It only took 6+ weeks, 3 electricians, and nearly hurling my brand new kiln back to Perth to finally get it working. But she lives!
This is only my second ever project fired in this machine. I’ve been experimenting with glass sheets, enamel paints, and firing schedules like I know what I’m doing (I don’t).
With the big 4-0 creeping up next year, I know this might look like a quirky little hobby that doesn’t make money… but for me, this is therapy with extra sparkle.
Moral of the story? It’s never too late to try something new, set things on fire (legally), and make a beautiful mess. 🥰

Red or Pink Protea?
Bold. Resilient. Unapologetically stunning. 🌺
These red and pink Proteas, native to Australia—aren’t just flowers, they’re powerhouses of natural design. With their layered petals and sculptural form, they remind us that strength can be soft, and beauty can bloom even in the toughest conditions.
Which colour is your fave: fiery red or blush pink? 💬👇

Did you know that with repetition, your brain strengthens neural pathways, allowing muscle memory to kick in and make complex tasks feel effortless over time?
They say consistency won’t betray you, and I have come to believe that deeply. I didn’t give up on my artistic pursuits, even when it felt like no one was watching, buying, or believing. I just kept creating. One piece at a time, one day at a time. Goals take time, but trust me… every quiet, persistent effort adds up!
Here are some blooms I am working on using some iridescent and dichroic glass pieces that are wayyy too expensive these days!
