Treasured Textiles

Hi all
I am off to Indonesia for a holiday, heading first to Jakarta, then ending up in Bali in a couple of weeks. Yes, I will be spending my time in Bali fabric buying, so if you think of particular colours or fabrics you would like me to look for, comment below. Back early July.

Thanks to the wonderful people in the Lions Club of Young NSW for their hard work in putting on the Young Quilt Show. We had a great weekend - lots of visitors who enjoyed the fabulous quilts which were beautiful and covered many techniques and styles. Looking forward to next year, when I will sponsor the

Thanks to Queanbeyan Quilters for hosting a lovely exhibition and having me as a stallholder. It was great to see so many people out and about across the weekend, the quilts were beautiful and the community focus of this group means there is always a feel good factor.

I have been selling my beautiful Bali batiks for over 10 years now, and in that time have not increased my prices. I am finding however that it is starting to become uneconomic to maintain the status quo, so will be increasing my prices with effect from 7 April.

Fabric will be $20 per metre, Jelly Rolls $40, and fat quarter packs $45.

I am sorry to have to do this, but the economic landscape we find ourselves in does not help.

Looking forward to seeing a good crowd at the upcoming Queanbeyan Quilters Inc quilt show, where I will be a stallholder.

I have a couple more gifty things to show you today.
Firstly, 2 pens made by my hubby using Japanese inspired designs. Beautiful designs $35 each.
At the other end of the scale, I have 2 fabric pouches made in Bali. Small $5, large $10.
Great pencil/ crayon cases for little people.

Today I have some ruler stands for sale. Large ones are 32cm x 11 cm at $20, and the small is 12 x 10 cm $10. I have 3 large and 1 small available

I have 3 of these lovely fabric gift boxes for sale at $15 each. Made in Bali, they are plain black inside and have a magnetic closure.
22 x 10 x 4 cm, a handy size for scissors, embroidery threads or whatever else you might like.
