Building repairs, no two days are the same in this field of work. Good old sails strike again. The sail here was originally attached to the timber fascia and was later relocated to the brickwork. We were engaged to repair the fascia and roof which was hanging by a thread.

Installing some extra truss reinforcement. Our client was concerned about there trusses with the added weight of there new solar panels recently installed. We conducted a truss inspection, identified some area’s of concern, some broken and sagging truss components, recommended/advised on some repairs and improvements, provided a quote and got the job done. Hammering our way through our list of building repairs jobs. This property had multiple leaks where the wall cladding met the roof. Our clients needed the external repairs completed before their issuance company would come back to complete the internal works. These repair’s may seem simple but can be a tradies worst nightmare. Building is a process and building in reverse has it challenges.
Long story short, our clients are smiling ear to ear with the completed repairs. .

Are your trusses failing? We are getting more requests for truss inspections, truss corrections/ reinforcement & repairs. Common factors we are seeing are builds within the 15 -40 year old mark, dark coloured roof tiles, ceiling batts or cool or cosy insulation with little or no roof ventilators. Another factor we are seeing is overall bad truss designs with large spans and under-spec components. In some cases these are unrepairable.
