Belair truck Spraypainting is looking for a full time Spray Painter.

We are located in Darra, Brisbane and are one of the top truck refinishers in the country. At Belair we specialize in cab and chassis colour changes, stripe work, custom colours and airbrushing.

The job will include prep work, masking and painting of 2 pac paint.

3rd and 4th years welcome to apply.

Weekend work is available at times when required.

Brisbane's Ekka public holiday will be moved to later this year.

With the Ekka cancelled for a second year, it makes sense to move the public holiday.

This will give people the chance to take advantage of the long weekend and support local businesses at a later date.

Moving the public holiday last year to the people's long weekend proved to be very successful.

The Scenic Rim Regional Council has also requested to move their show holiday.

The date for the new public holiday is expected to be decided in the next parliamentary sitting as it requires legislative amendment.

Originally prepared by Bel Air 19 year ago, this Limited Edition Mack Trident was carefully refurbished as a working truck for presentation at the Mack Museum at the recent Brisbane Truck Show. To say it was showing it's vintage when it first arrived at Bel Air is an understatement. A lack of posts from us over the past few months due to our undertakings for the 2019 Brisbane Truck Show.

To all our customers over this period we appreciate your understanding as timelines have been more than challenging and we can say that normal operations have recommenced.

I would like to take this opportunity to acknowledge the efforts of the Bel Air team over the past few months. Their commitment to the cause and the quality that they produced exceeded all expectations.

More information to follow over the next few weeks however can certainly start with one of the most photographed trucks in Australia in recent times. This vehicle is being auctioned off in June with proceeds to help Australia's farming communities.

Well, it is that time of year that the Bel Air team are having a break for the Festive Season after a busy and challenging 2018.

To all our friends and fans out there we would like to wish you a safe and Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

The Bel Air team returns on the 7th of January with a range of new and exciting projects already in the pipeline for 2019.
