Dear community, At about 3:30 am today, we had 5 offenders enter our yard, carport and yes they got into our Sherwood house.
Alerted by multiple external cameras, I contacted police and waited an excruciating 10 mins for police to arrive.
Offenders were in possession of screw drivers, scissors and a knife. I relayed information to 000 as I watched it all unfold on multiple cameras. We have a panic plan in the event this ever happened and we followed it. I never thought this would happen to us.
Whilst we have footage galore from all over our house inside and out this was the longest 10 mins of our lives. There were no police staffed overnight at Sherwood and they had to come from Mt Ommaney. There were 5 masked male offenders armed inside our home and we were inside with them.
