Our beautiful girl Windal Park Celtic Princess (Lexi) has turned the big 2.

From a premi baby 6 weeks early, super intensive care by our wonderful Murray Vets who worked hard plus lexi had the will to live, and we sold a kidney or two, has turned into a big healthy beautiful filly. We are so blessed to have her take over the reigns from her wonderful mumma.

[10/12/21]   Now the rain has finally died down, we have opened up 4 large Spelling paddocks will take three horses easily, heaps of feed, so not suited for the fatties unless they are used to abundant grass. All paddocks are double fenced with large shelters in them, all electric fencing, and large water troughs.

We are also taking for bookings for over the summer, places and paddocks are starting to get booked so get in early. :)

[09/24/21]   It’s taken a few days to be able to write this post so here goes:
RIP Miss Molly!
The best games pony a girl could ever have wanted! You were fast, temperamental, stubborn, and your ears were permanently pinned to your head! But you did anything I asked of you!
Even in your old age you still had the farriers on their toes with your moods and quick feet!
But I loved you! You were my first pony and you gave me 23 years of fun!
Rest easy my girl and run free with all my other teachers and Thankyou for all you that you taught me ###

[04/12/21]   Yesterday we braved the rain and went to the Commonwealth Clydesdale State Show with our c**t Hercules he did us proud, we dont have photos yet as to be honest my hands were so cold and wet and I am a woos in wet weather, but will update some when the lovely Christie Lynne uploads her pics and we purchase them.

He got Supreme Drum, Champion C**t in Part Bred Clydesdale, and Grand Champion Stallion/C**t.

A bit thank you to all the sponsors for these classes :) and to the lovely committee who ran the show, and to the great judge who took time out for great feedback.

All the competitors who were also soaked to the skin, still had a smile and a laugh on the day and helping each other out, which is what showing is all about.

A huge thank you to Alysha (daughter) who preps and shows him amazingly, cant thank you enough for all you do for our horses. ###

Windal Park Celtic Princess had her first show yesterday, well this week has been a lot of firsts! Tying up, rugging, washing, feather scrubbing, float trip and in her typical quiet nature took it all
In her stride!
What a pleasure of a horse to take out for the first time, she was calm and quiet all day and took out Supreme Clydesdale/Heavy Draft (only representative) but then was also awarded Supreme Any other registered colour against 2 other entries!
She ran out in SOS and stood up perfectly! Super proud of this girl- she is only a yearling and has come so far from that premature foal we fought so hard to keep alive 16 months ago!!

Windal Park Spelling and Agistment

We are looking at weening our beautiful Clydesdale filly, and was looking to see if anyone was in the same boat who is weening theirs and needs a friend.

Our girl is strong, and big b***d, so not really suited for a lightweight foal or very small.

To help someone out we are offering free agistment for foal, you would just be up for farrier costs and worming. Hopefully your foal would be up to date with all vaccinations :). We would love you to come out and play with your foal as well.

Below is a pic of our 5 month old baby so as you can see she isn't a lightweight lol.

Please don't hesitate to contact us if you would like any more information.

We are located in Pinjarra

[12/31/19]   Reflextion on the last year here at Windal Park :

The year started off fairly crappy, with having a fire on the farm, and loosing our cottage and 5kl of fencing, this I must admit took its toll, and came very close to just closing the doors, as it was all so daunting at the amount of work to do to rebuild as we lost a lot of paddocks, but after a month away to clear the mind we got back into it with avengance and with the huge work and hours hubby and Jason put in have rebuilt and it looks better than ever.

We also lost one of our first bred mares, and our beautiful big girl dog Gabby, I dont know what was worse the fire or loosing both of these.

Upside, our show season could not have been better, with my boy Zulu (fries/wb) taking out the Royal breed for the second year in a row, and our C**t Hercules wining nearly all the classes he has entered, his highlight wining supreme of show. Without my daughters hard work in prepping and training non of our achievements would be possible.

There were also a lot of people behind the scenes who have also helped us big time, to them we are truly thankful.

We also welcomed our first pure clydesdale filly born this year, even though she had a rocky start to her life, has bounced back healthy and happy.

Lastly to my amazing clients, who have stuck with us through thick and thin, and to those who come back for holidays every year, we thank you all we are very lucky.

So from all of us at Windal Park, we hope you have a fantastic New Year and look forward to seing you all next year.

Introducing ‘LEXI’ (show name pending)
Sire: Dillars Spectacular
Mare: Royal Tartan Alannah
100% Clydesdale Filly born 26.11.19

And what an entrance you made!!

Born 3 weeks premature due to suspected placentitis, she was an immature dummy foal that crashed hard night 1 despite our best efforts!

Huge shout out to the amazing team at Murray Vets who took her in and treated her- it was touch and go for a few days and we nearly lost both Lexi and our gorgeous mare Ally!

We are super proud of this foal- a 10 year dream in the making is now in our paddock!!

[11/11/19]   We have large spelling paddocks available which will easily take three horses. Also we have just finished 3 individual paddocks complete with lockable shelter for the night and huge day yards. We can also take a few riding agistment if wanted.

[10/20/19]   Very late in posting this.

Just wanted to say a huge big thank you to Fred Watkins for another fantastic clinic last weekend. There was such a variety of horses at all levels of training, and the improvement was amazing over the three days. This was our first time of not having a horse in the clinic, even felt very lost lol, was able to really watch and got lots of light bulb moments.

Also thank you to the lovely bunch of ladies that came, there were some laughs and tears, but everyone was just so supportive of each other it was lovely to see perfect strangers become good friends at the end.

I am sure Rachel will put pics up when she has five minutes to breath, and thanks to her for all her organising behind the scene, where she works tirelessly to make these wonderful clinics happen.

Until the next one :) :)

[10/10/19]   Good Morning

Look forward to seeing everyone.

FTA Mobile Solar Electric Fence Systems

Busy times out at Windal Park Spelling and Agistment. Fred Watkins horse clinic now only 7 days away and still lots to do. This place is close to my heart and the business name sake.

For those that don’t know FTA was founded and the brain child from a fire which really hit home as that day was so surreal.

FTA (from the ashes) and Windal Park has had many development hurdles since that fateful day in early January. We have gone from repair / fix mode to improvement status.

Like our name sake we have only grown stronger and have that spark back to make great things happen this year!
