Are your timber floors cupping or peaking?
These images are taken of a water damaged timber floor.
Cupping is caused by the absorption of moisture beneath the flooring and peaking is usually caused by the lack of expansion allowed during installation.
This floor was undergoing insurance replacement due to driving rain causing water ingress through the door sill.
A weatherproof door seal fixed along the base of the door would need to be installed to prevent any future water ingress.
