Term 1 of our after school comic making class, Exploring Comics, is all wrapped up! Just gotta get these fantastic comics ready to print and be sent off to thee fantastic makers 🩷

This term’s theme was “Lost in Space”, where students crafted dramatic tales of getting lost amongst the stars. Soo many wonderful ships were designed, the abyss of the universe shaded, and a delightful collection of crew members to lead us to safety. Very keen on what they created for Term 2, as we navigate our way through some outdoorsy mayhem in Camp Chaos!

The first fortnight and a bit of Conjuring Creativity’s comic making term courses have been jam packed full of drawing and story telling technique activities! From fun blobby figure pairings in Comics, a retelling of the Odyssey starring Taylor Swift and Mario in Comics Draw-Along, and the feathered edges of galaxies in Exploring comics; there’s a lot going on! Very delightful start to the term 🤩

Term 1 of Conjuring Creativity’s term courses are just a week away, with bookings still open! I can’t wait for what the students come up with re: the different themes for each course. There’s themes of space exploration, tales of the underdog, and Greek mythology to choose from!

I love starting off lessons with quick drawing warm ups and technique intros! With this term’s extra spooky theme, it was a lot of fun come up with guide sheets on drawing melty candles, ghosts, and dilapidated walls!

Hitting off week 2 of Exploring Comics with a wonderfully spooky start by learning how to plan and draw a haunted house! 👻

👻To celebrate the spooky season, our pokemon themed polymer clay sculpting workshop will be focused on ghost types! We’ll also make the ruins of a haunted house too, perfect for them to haunt 😎
