“Where the Wind Takes You #2” is a little nod to childhood days spent beneath the washing line. Not the iconic Hills Hoist, but the simple pole-and-wire clothesline where sheets billowed like sails and secret worlds appeared between the drifting folds. There was something magical about hiding amongst the washing, feeling the wind tug at the fabric and carrying your imagination wherever it pleased.
This piece is a hand-coloured papercut, framed in a 38 x 20 cm black frame. ❤️

I tried to make a video—camera on my face, walking through the studio, explaining how I make things—but I just couldn’t do it. It doesn’t feel like me.
So for now, you’ll just have to keep putting up with photos of my art instead… because that, I can do. 😊

A lovely day spent teaching a mosaic workshop with TAFE students. It’s been years since I’ve run a workshop, so it felt good to dip my toes back into that creative space again. There’s something special about sharing the joy of making with others. Maybe a papercut workshop next? Who knows… we’ll see where the journey leads. ✨😊
