I've seen this move in iRacing plenty of times...
but it's the first time I've seen it in real life.
After being spun, one driver apparently decided the best course of action was to turn around and attempt a counterattack on the race leader the next lap.
Needless to say, race control had some thoughts. 😂🏁

🏁 EXCEL NATIONALS WEEKEND IS HERE! 🏁
This weekend we're heading to Shell V-Power Motorsport Park for the 2026 Tufflift Excel Nationals — the biggest event on the Circuit Excel calendar.
Unlike our usual state championship rounds, Nationals runs a completely different format.
Saturday starts with qualifying, before the field is split into groups for a series of qualifying heats. Those heats aren't worth championship points; instead, every result earns points that determine your starting position for the Nationals Final.
Over six heats, the goal is simple: stay fast, stay consistent, and score enough points to secure a spot near the front of the grid for Sunday's Trophy Final.
Then it all comes down to one race.
The Trophy Final is where the 2026 Excel Nationals Champion will be crowned.
Check out the schedule in the image for all session times and make sure you tune in throughout the weekend. The action will be streamed live on Kayo, so whether you're at the track or watching from home, you won't miss a lap.

A record 72 entries for the Tufflift Circuit Excel 2026 Nationals. Circuit Excel S.A. and CERA making history with the first standalone Master grid at a Nationals. 49 Trophy competitors and 23 Masters looking forward to hitting the track at Shell V-Power Motorsport Park.
Is aggressive swerving the key to warming a race tyre? I don't think so. Core temp > surface temp. Braking is your real warming secret.
People say racing drivers are fussy, but changing the seat position made this car feel completely different. All my normal touchpoints were different, and it took some time to get used to them.
The lower seat position is a big upgrade for ergonomics, performance, and safety.
The shocks had to come out to check their legality as they didn't have tamper seals. The dyno test revealed they were way too soft in rebound. This is a huge revelation, and the shocks, now with the correct settings, have fixed our understeer problems that plagued us all through last year.
Race car checks: Seals on engine and shocks? ✅ Oops, forgot the tamper seals. That's gonna be a problem.

In the Event Entry look for 2026 MA Summit SA Motor Racing Championship Round 2 - The Bend 13-14 June 2026 (Circuit Excel Nationals)
-International Circuit (4.95km)
-Live streaming Saturday and Sunday
-Friday practice, racing (including qualifying) & shared pit lane garages for $990.
-Friday & Saturday hotel accommodation (2 nights) including breakfast in addition to the on-track schedule can be packaged for $1480. Book rooms via the Bend Rydges Pit Lane Hotel website.
-Standalone grid for Masters over 35 years of age
