With the National Pharmacies Christmas Pageant Royal Family being announced this morning, here’s a previous Royal Family disembarking their float to greet Father Christmas at the conclusion of the pageant.

Starting it's pageant life as Farmyard Frolics, the float was given a refurbishment and transformed into Goanna Rock Barn Dance supplying the Australian section with colour and movement.

Splish splash there’s a hippo taking a bath!

The wildly popular Hippo’s Hot Tub enters Victoria Square / Tarntanyangga in the 2000 Christmas Pageant.

Children of the Golden Palace arrived in 1997. Nellie was was promoted to the the role of royal elephant preceding the float.

Rudolf sits reading his vacation magazine on South Terrace knowing that in a few moments he’ll be creating pageant memories that will last a lifetime.

Memories from 2017

A very simple concept that proved to be extremely effective. The glitz of the presents gave real sparkle to the Christmas section of the pageant. The original music was Dance with Santa Claus before being replaced with Santa Claus is Coming.
