Sean was regularly in the top 5 back in his junior JKC days, now he's in A Grade and mentoring kids in the JKC!

The new (slightly old) twin is a rocket!
Sean had a great day today in both classes but the new front sprocket to clutch arrangement in the 125 gave up the ghost after just 2 heats so we parked it and concentrated on the twin.
He had one dnf where he had nowhere to go running into a stopped kart but otherwise got quicker and better the longer the day went on.
In the winner take all final Seano started out of 4 but with a cracker start and a big move down to turn 1 he quickly found himself in 2nd. He set the fastest lap while he steadily got away from the lads behind him and got after the leader.
It was great to see Sean really attack a race track again and to have the new jigga do exactly what we wanted was a relief! A few of the regular suspects all commented on how great it was to see Sean driving like that again and coming in with a big grin on his head!

Tomorrow we're heading back to Yorke Peninsula Dirt Kart Club for their Outlaw Trophy Day. Seeing how we don't have one of those it'll just be a regular club show for us! Erin has decided to spend some quality time with family so it'll just be Sean in the drivers seat.

He'll be having his first run in the 125 Heavy class having outgrown the medium class a while back (he's getting bigger and heavier every week it seems!).
Also, he will give his newly aquired KT Twin a rip. I've put quite a few hours into that thing so fingers crossed it goes great and we don't have too many dramas!
Big thanks to the guys at Lightning Karts for helping me get it sorted. Much appreciated.

For heat 3 yesterday we did a gearing change but reverted back to our normal tuning
Despite the chaos and restarts Erin nearly found her way to the front from the back!
