Lovely people, I have been lending a hand with the organising of this awesome event, and would love it if you could attend...and bring a friend, it’s going to be great!

Did you know that the Australian breast cancer screening process is incomplete? This means most women aren’t fully informed of results or reminders. By attending our Raise a Glass Breakfast, you will be contributing directly to vital research that will help make breast screening more accessible and effective for women across Australia. Together, we can make a difference in the fight against breast cancer while enjoying a meaningful morning in great company.
Your ticket includes:
• A glass of bubbles or mimosa upon arrival to start your day with a bit of sparkle.
• A delicious breakfast to fuel your body for the day ahead, with options for a big breakfast or a vegetarian big breakfast, both served with a hot drink.
• A lucky door prize, giving everyone a chance to win something special, and multiple raffle prizes with exciting items up for grabs throughout the event.
Special Guest Speaker:
We are honoured to welcome Mary Ormond, a breast cancer survivor and champagne expert. Her story of resilience and strength will be one of the highlights of the morning. Not only will she share her personal journey, but she will also delve into the fascinating history of champagne and the pivotal role that women have played in influencing its development. Her unique perspective will surely inspire all in attendance.

I’ve been feeling pretty blah lately, so I forced myself to spend yesterday afternoon making pretty things. Now I have a box of pretty bits to make even more things with and I’m feeling a bit better. Art is therapy.

I put the finishes touches on this stunner today, after playing yarn chicken and having to wait while one last ball arrived. I think it worked out better though, I'm loving the linen stitch border and chunky tassels! What do you think?

This one is 1.5m square and made from 7 balls of BWM Bloom yarn in Sugarplum. Pattern from Bella Coco

I've got this beauty on my book tonight. I love watching the colours reveal themselves as I work though each ball. This is BWM Bloom in Lollipop 🍭

I've been working on this five minutes at a time as my post COVID brain allows and today I finally finished it! Love the new portraits from and the wide washi from that matched with my Distress Inks beautifully.
