MENCARI – Pop-Rock for your Soul from Vienna

MENCARI - Indonesian for "search" - that's Sarah Mencari on vocals and Michael Reiter on guitar. The duo could already be seen at Vinyl&Music in the Ottakringer Brauerei and in the livestream of 4GAMECHANGERS. With their first single CHAINS, they were able to attract attention beyond borders. The name came about during a solo trip to Indonesia in 2018 by Sarah, which led her to start her long-awaited music project at the age of 30, proving to herself and others that it's never too late. When the Viennese guitarist and multi-instrumentalist Michael joined in 2020, it was clear: the search for the perfect match had succeeded and MENCARI was born. MENCARI's lyrics are inspired by the courage to go one's own way, the quest for growth, recurring self-doubts, the desire for an inclusive and tolerant world and the hope to inspire, motivate and support the listeners. The combination of virtuoso versatility on the guitar and an extraordinary soulful voice take the listeners into an acoustic world with surprising elements. Sometimes bluesy, sometimes rock-inspired - "Soul-Pop Extended", basically.

Thank each and every one of you wonderful souls for celebrating our final concert with us, for the beautiful atmosphere, for singing and vibing with us and thank all of you, if present or online, so much for your support over the last years, our hearts are full 🫶
And we are very grateful that thanks to you we could raise 726,76€ (!) yesterday which will now go to Verein Wiener Frauenhäuser ❤️🩹

We love these pics from our gig at .vienna, thank you so much, 🫶 And we're still so happy about the beautiful atmosphere at the concert so, again, thank each and every one of you who was there and a big Thank you to Club LUCIA, Sound Engineer Dee (always a pleasure) and who shared the stage with us and were amazing 🤍
